omori doesn't have am age rating iirc however, i don't recommend playing it unless you're at least 17+ as the game has heavy depiction of depression, anxiety and even more so, suicide. on top of that, game has quite a bit of unsettling parts too, definitely not suitable for the young and real bad mental state to play. 16.

I think the majority of 16 year olds would be fine playing the game, especially considering that the game gives an explicit trigger warning so no one would be surprised by the themes. depends. if theyre in a bad spot or get triggered by depictions of suicide, depression, or violence, maybe not. otherwise itll probably be ok. Nah. I'd say wait until about 15 or older, some of the topics and ideas can fly over a 13 year olds head because they don't realize heavy some of the topics are.

There's stuff in this game that would be extremely inappropriate for someone so young. If I had played this at that age, I would have been scarred for life. omori should be considered based off the contents rather than the age rating. there’s the heavy themes everyone is mentioning, however, it says strong language in the age rating too. there is one circumstance that contains the f word that has an impossibly low chance of even occurring. it really depends on your ability to handle heavy themes in the content warning. there’s also jumpscares.

Mind it it doesn't support it and the best ending is about overcoming and to come terms with feelings of guilt. I would say it's age appropriate there's nothing sexual in that or to graphically violent. Most of the game is pretty light fluffy and beautiful outside of its darker moments. #1.
